Ultra-High Efficiency Refrigerant

The Hydrocarbon refrigerants are non-toxic and non-ozone depleting, making it the most environmentally friendly refrigerant in an ULT. Hydrocarbon refrigerant reduces your total cost of ownership by lowering energy consumption up to 60% when compared to existing HFC refrigerant technology. HC refrigerants are easy on compressors, which extends the freezer’s overall lifespan and performance.

Intuitive Touchscreen

The new intuitive touchscreen displays interior and ambient temperature in real time and graphs historical data for up to 10 years. This model can also catalog inventory and create multiple user accounts with different layers of access. All data can be exported via USB and re-uploaded to other VFT units to ensure uniform operational settings.

Consistent Performance

Variable Flow Control monitors, compensates, and protects against facility line voltage variations and provides constant power to the ULT while maintaining internal temperature uniformity. The compressor operates quietly and can be set to high performance mode or extra power saving mode.

Reduce Frost

A multi-point gasket system ensures a tight door seal, minimizing potential frost build up. Insulated and gasketed inner doors add an additional layer of security working towards separating the storage containers from the laboratory environment.

Backup System

A battery backup system comes standard on all Blizzard^© Freezers providing up to 72 hours of emergency power to electronics and alarm systems in the event of a power grid failure.
