The LabGard® NU-813 Class I Containment Ventilated Enclosure (CVE) features a versatile design that can be configured to serve the needs of pharmacies compounding non-sterile drugs or microbiological labs seeking personnel and environmental protection. Stainless steel airfoils around the cabinet’s 8-inch (203mm) work access opening guide the 80 FPM (0,41 m/s) inflow as it flows into a polycarbonate work zone with dished, epoxy work surface. These clear sidewalls not only provide visibility but also standard access ports and optional steel waste chutes. The Aeromax™ control system uses simple green, yellow, or red LED lights to visualize airflow performance as it monitors pressure in the cabinet plenum. The unit can be configured with double exhaust HEPA filters and a deflector for work allowing recirculation to the room or with a canopy and airflow alarm for applications demanding connection to an external exhaust.

AEROMAX CONTROL SYSTEM

The AeroMax control system visualizes airflow plenum pressure through a series of multicolored lights and activates both an audible and visual alarm whenever cabinet performance departs from normal parameters.

BAG-IN/BAG-OUT EXHAUST FILTER

The bag-in/bag-out feature provides an additional layer of protection for technicians as they change the exhaust HEPA filter by allowing them to pull the old filter directly into a bag as they pull it out of the cabinet.

DOUBLE EXHAUST FILTER OPTION

The optional double exhaust HEPA filter configures the NU-813 for use as a Containment Primary Engineering Control (C-PEC) for compounding nonsterile hazardous drugs in those cases allowed by USP-800.

CONFIGURABILITY AND COMFORT

Stainless steel airfoils guide the protective inflow entering the work area and act as a comfortable armrest for the cabinet operator. Cord pass-throughs are standard on both sides, while an optional waste chute and shelf adapt the work zone to the needs of your laboratory or pharmacy.
